The Catalyst Program

The success of a social innovator is Egregor’s own measure of success. We collaborate with ambitious social innovators across the world and accompany their journey by providing long-term and respectful partnership. We are looking to work with highly impactful, ambitious and ethical start-up enterprises or grassroot non-profit associations across the world.

Our model

01 Joint-diagnostic

Before a partnership is established, Egregor focuses on understanding the social innovator’ strengths, challenges, aspirations, obstacles that limit the optimisation of their impact, as well as the social innovator’s organisational culture and the social, political, cultural and economic context. We also assess the degree of the social innovator’s alignment to our ethical charter. This is also the time when the social innovators set the practical goals of the partnership with Egregor.

02 Partnership

A mutual and collective partnership is established between social innovators and Egregor. It is renewed and adjusted every year.

03 Technical support

Egregor provides social innovators with a wide range of tools to boost their effectiveness. By using these tools, the social innovators and Egregor take the following actions:

  • Enhancing the social innovator’ internal functioning: together with social innovators, our experts in both thematic areas and operations (notably in human resources, finances, communication and logistics) address the obstacles faced by social innovators.
  • Building capacity for resilience: our managerial and operational experts foster and facilitate the establishment of a participative leadership in which the teams collectively design their ambitious future plans and strategies.
  • Connecting ecosystems: our thematic experts identify and connect social innovators with public institutions, private sector companies, non-profit organisations and civil societies, media, academia, etc.

04 Evaluation and continuation

When social innovators’ Energy for Change becomes sufficiently strong and self-sustained, the form of collaboration evolves to potential ad hoc support and the integration into the Egregor community. In the community, social innovators will share their visions, their methods, ideas and know-how to a wider public. Hence, further social innovations, future alliances and partnerships between social innovators and with external structures, as well as inspirations for potential future social innovators might arise from the inclusion of social innovators in the Egregor community.
